Homemade pepparkakskrydda | seasoning mix with cinnamon, swollen gums ginger, cloves and nutmeg
Pepparkakskrydda is a delicious and simple blend of spices that you can add to breads, cakes and applesauce, or use to make a pepparkakskryddad latte for yourself and a warm, spicy milk for your little ones. We have also made a version of our recipe for chocolate balls with this this spice mix, spicy ginger & coconut balls. swollen gums
Spices are a great way to add flavor without adding sugary sweetness and they are also healthy. Cinnamon swollen gums has antibacterial properties and is known to lower cholesterol and regulate blood sugar. It also contains large amounts of manganese, fiber, iron and calcium. Ginger aids digestion and strengthens the immune system.
This is a recipe that is great to do with your kids, they will love to pour the spices into the bowl and help you blend them. Cinnamon is a pretty strong spice and some children are allergic to it, therefore, we have categorized the recipe 8 months + to be on the safe side.
